Captovia（以下「本拡張機能」）は、利用者のプライバシーを尊重し、データを可能な限り利用者の手元（お使いの端末内）で完結させる「ローカルファースト」の設計を採用しています。本ポリシーは、本拡張機能が扱う情報と、その取り扱いについて説明します。

1. 収集しない情報

本拡張機能は、以下を含む利用者の個人情報を収集・外部送信しません。

録画した映像データ
閲覧しているウェブページの内容
氏名、メールアドレス、その他の個人を特定する情報

撮影・録画したデータ、および閲覧中のページの内容は、外部のサーバーに送信されることはありません。すべて、お使いの端末内でのみ処理・保存されます。

2. データの保存場所

本拡張機能が扱うデータは、すべてお使いの端末内に保存されます。

スクリーンショット・録画データ、およびプロジェクト情報は、ブラウザが端末内に持つデータベース（IndexedDB）に保存されます。
設定や状態（表示言語、無料／Proの区別、利用記録、ライセンスキーなど）は、拡張機能専用の端末内の保管領域（chrome.storage.local）に保存されます。
書き出した画像・録画・GIFは、利用者のダウンロードフォルダ、または利用者自身が選択したフォルダに保存されます。

これらのデータは外部に送信されず、利用者の管理下にあります。

3. 外部との通信

本拡張機能が外部のサーバーと通信するのは、Pro版のライセンスキーを確認する場合のみです。

ライセンスキーの有効化および検証のため、決済・ライセンス管理サービスである Polar（polar.sh）と通信します。この通信で送信される情報は、以下に限られます。

入力されたライセンスキー
Captovia の組織ID（利用者個人を特定する情報ではない、固定の識別子）
端末の有効化ID（ライセンスを有効化した際に発行される識別子）

この通信には、スクリーンショット、録画、閲覧内容、氏名、メールアドレスは一切含まれません。

なお、Pro版の購入は、本拡張機能内ではなく、Polar の購入ページで行われます。クレジットカード情報などの決済情報は Polar 側で処理され、本拡張機能がこれらの情報を受け取ったり保存したりすることはありません。

4. 分析ツール・広告について

本拡張機能には、Google アナリティクスをはじめとする利用状況の分析ツール、エラー収集ツール、広告は一切含まれていません。利用者の行動を追跡・計測することはありません。

5. 権限について

本拡張機能は、スクリーンショットの撮影・録画・保存という機能を提供するために、ブラウザの各種権限を必要とします。これらの権限は、撮影・録画とその端末内への保存のためにのみ使用され、閲覧内容を外部に送信する目的では使用しません。

6. ウェブサイト（ランディングページ）について

本拡張機能の紹介ウェブサイトでは、訪問状況を把握するために Google アナリティクスを使用する場合があります。これはウェブサイト上の統計のためのものであり、本拡張機能の動作とは独立しています。

Privacy Policy

Captovia ("the Extension") respects your privacy and is built with a "local-first" design, keeping your data on your own device as much as possible. This policy explains what information the Extension handles and how.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The Extension does not collect or transmit your personal information, including:

Screenshots you capture
Screen recordings you create
The content of the web pages you view
Your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information

Captured data, recordings, and the content of the pages you view are never sent to any external server. They are processed and stored solely on your own device.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

All data handled by the Extension is stored on your own device.

Screenshots, recordings, and project information are stored in a database within your browser on your device (IndexedDB).
Settings and state (display language, free/Pro status, usage records, license key, etc.) are stored in the Extension's local storage area on your device (chrome.storage.local).
Exported images, recordings, and GIFs are saved to your Downloads folder or to a folder you choose yourself.

This data is not transmitted externally and remains under your control.

3. External Communication

The Extension communicates with an external server only to verify your Pro license key.

To activate and validate the license key, the Extension communicates with Polar (polar.sh), a payment and license management service. The only information sent in this communication is:

The license key you entered
Captovia's organization ID (a fixed identifier that does not personally identify you)
The device activation ID (an identifier issued when the license is activated)

This communication never includes screenshots, recordings, page content, your name, or your email address.

Purchases of the Pro version are made on Polar's checkout page, not within the Extension. Payment information such as credit card details is processed by Polar; the Extension does not receive or store this information.

4. Analytics and Advertising

The Extension does not include any usage analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), error-tracking tools, or advertising. It does not track or measure your behavior.

5. Permissions

The Extension requires certain browser permissions in order to provide its screenshot capture, recording, and saving features. These permissions are used solely for capturing, recording, and saving to your device, and are not used to transmit your browsing content externally.

6. About the Website (Landing Page)

The Extension's promotional website may use Google Analytics to understand visitor activity. This is for website statistics only and is independent of the Extension's operation.
